Our First Christmas!

Dad (I know, the hair can be deceiving) with his Obama puzzle, Black Velvet whiskey, and new hair-do!

All I want for Christmas is a new niece or nephew!

Santa & Julia- Yes, I do believe!

O, Christmas tree!

So this is officially our first Christmas together as husband and wife! What a journey so far. We have traveled quite alot so far this holiday season, and we still have a 6 hour drive back home. After my parents came up for my graduation on Friday (that post will come soon), we all headed out early that next morning for my Mom's family Christmas. We had a blast, and it was so good to see our family again since the wedding. Jerry even got to meet Santa Claus (up close and personal). We then had a great couple days finishing our Christmas shopping, playing tons of games, and putting together a random Obama puzzle (see pictures).

Then, on the 23rd, we headed down to the Valley which only took around 7 1/2 hours (in an already packed car with 2 tooting pooches). We had a great meal with Jerry's family on Christmas Eve, and Santa even made another appearance at midnight for us all to open gifts.

Today has been filled with lots of food and sleep (as all trips to Jerry's parent's house are). We'll stay here until the 27th, and then head back to H-town for work on Monday. So, really, only Jerry has to work, but my time will be consumed with trying to fit our Christmas gifts into our near-bursting 2 bedroom apartment and trying to find a job for myself.

Hope you all have a blessed Christmas Day!
